AIR TUBES STYLE RHIB's
We specialize in Custom traditional air tube (collar) manufacturing.
100% air is our most cost-effective setup. Our air collars have multiple urethane bladders inside them, making any repairs or even bladder replacements very easy. Air collars are also extremely comfortable to sit on, as any RIB owner knows.
We offer a range of collar systems and material configurations designed to deliver the safest, highest‑performing solution—without stretching your budget.

Before construction begins our team assesses scope of work for a time frame provided. Through the whole process of construction, work is performed in a controlled environment. Humidity more than 30% maximum, temperature 10-20 degrees C, grease and oil free environment. Construction of the tubes performed in stages.
Main assembly and structure
- Measuring dimensions of hull and existing tubes (to make the precise fit).
- Laying fabric out on a cutting table (Check for any Imperfections). Marking the panels.
- Cutting out panels, seaming tape, baffles, all the necessary parts and components.
- Marking, taping, buffing all the seam joints and components.
- Assembling all the panels together. ( 30 mm overlap )
- Vulcanization takes place prior to adhering to all fabric. This happens throughout the entire process ( Toluene 92.14 g/mol ).
- 60 mm wide seaming tape applied to all internal seams ( ORCA 261 664 NB Black ).
One continuous seaming tape applied for each individual seam.
- Construction and installation of baffles ( bulkheads ). Baffles constructed from ( ORCA 274 876 Black ) with 203 mm of movement ( play ), to provide proper air displacement between chambers.
Inflation and deflation system
- Before every valve or pressure relief valve installed, opening is reinforced ( from inside ) with 150 mm backing plate
-Intake valves and relief valves, all pressure tested before installed. Some pressure relief valves can be set to a certain PSI to release Air.
Safety and protection system
-After completing the main construction of tubes.Installation safety protection system takes place ( D-Rings, safety lines, handles, oar holders if required, Non-slippery protection fabric, fenders, bow extra protection layer, reflective stripes if required, tube hull attachments).
-Before installation, pressure testing is required, tubes are inflated to 6 PSI and left in the control temperature space for 48 hours, after the test is complete tubes are coated on the inside with liquid latex.
-Before installing tubes all necessary work been done to the RIB hull by required specification
